About

Daniela Uribe

I am a Stanford University graduate from Pereira, Colombia. I am interested in climate change adaptation/migration, ecosystem services, the building of more resilient communities, and collective action.

I am fascinated by the ambitious mechanisms we have designed to tackle and adapt to the most pressing challenges of our time, such as payments for ecosystem services and carbon markets. I am also drawn to creative forms of philanthropy, trade, investment, and the inclusion of native knowledge into policies and solutions. I am deeply interested in agriculture, food production, and food security.

My goal is to work on strengthening the environmental and social wellbeing of populations around the world. I aim to do so with humility and lasting optimism, grounded on a vision of justice for all.

Here’s a little bit more about me. Email me with any questions or comments at danuuribe at gmail dot com.
